Why You Are Afraid of Being Alone

The fear of loneliness is not simply the absence of people nearby, but a symptom of “emptiness” where scale should be. If you are afraid of being left alone, it means your Eve has lost her support, and your Lilith has not yet opened your eyes to the eternity of your path.

Honesty with yourself: Service or Impulse

The first step toward overcoming fear is to understand what role you are playing in this life.

  • Eve’s strength is in Service: If your essence is creation within the contour — family, husband, children — acknowledge it. Do not try to play the “independent predator” if your Source is filled through caring for those close to you. As soon as you honestly tell yourself, “My meaning is in this union,” you will stop rushing from side to side and begin building your fortress consciously.
  • Lilith’s impulse: If, however, you feel that “domestic life” is only a backdrop, while your essence demands the consumption of meanings, impressions, and knowledge, then you need to find a project or idea that will become your personal vector. Lilith has no fear of loneliness; she has only a thirst for new experience.

Mystical scale: Life as a segment

Your fear begins in the illusion of finality. If you believe that this life is your only and last chance, then any minute spent alone feels like a loss.

Lilith’s verdict: This life is only a short training path, a small classroom before entering a far more expansive world. You are a Soul, a traveler. Your current failures, lack of a partner, or “wrong” status are only temporary scenery.

When you realize the grandeur of your path, the fear of loneliness will be replaced by anticipation.

Practice: “Changing the Scale”

This practice will help you feel your significance regardless of whether someone is beside you or not.

  1. The meeting: Close your eyes. Imagine that you are sitting in an infinite space. Your Lilith approaches you — majestic and calm — and places the Book of Fates before you.
  2. The past: You open it and see your “falls.” Look at them now. They seem enormous, but in the Book they occupy only a couple of lines.
  3. The future: Lilith turns the page. There is your next experience after this life. You may choose any form, any force, any reality. There are no limits. Let yourself be saturated with this scale.
  4. The return: Look again at your present “fear of being left alone” from that future point. If you feel like smiling, the practice has worked. Your current drama has become “prematurely sweet and funny” against the background of eternity.

Honesty with yourself

The one who recognizes herself as an eternal wanderer cannot be lonely. You are always in the company of your own strength.
