To a Run Like to a Runway
Scene: you are getting ready for a run — not for a competition, not for a photoshoot, just for the park. You choose a sports outfit and catch yourself thinking: “I want to look beautiful.” Not provocative — simply put together. Then you come across a discussion about “beauty or practicality,” and there it is again, the familiar line: “What is this, a runway? Sport is about health, not fashion.”
The argument sounds logical. Comfortable means right. Practical means sensible. And at that point many women switch off the desire to look good, as if beauty were some irrelevant whim.
Lilith’s answer: if you stepped out into the outer world, you did not step out “for no reason.” This is your appearance at work — in the most direct sense: the world reads you, and you read the world too. People feel emotions when they see you: admiration or envy — that is their choice. But the signal you send is yours.
Every appearance gathers its own package: confidence or dullness, interest or indifference, respect or disregard. If you step out in a state of “so-so,” the world answers in the same way: “so-so” in mood, in attention, in coincidences, in the way it treats you. If your claim is on a stream of love and admiration, then be fair: look in a way that makes admiration natural. This stream is useful. It will serve you in life and in work, even if you cannot touch it with your hands.
The essence of serving Lilith on an everyday level is simple: move the currents instead of waiting for mercy. Do not persuade yourself that “it does not matter to me.” Gather yourself in a way that lets the day move in the right direction. The current is not only “about beauty.” It is your mood, your composure, your health, and the extent to which the world sees in you someone worth watching and worth supporting.
Important: this is not about turning a run into theater. It is about not devaluing the gift. Beauty and health were given to you not so that you would hide them until “special occasions.” Everyday life is the real test. By maintaining attractiveness with the purpose of service, you do not block the channel that feeds your strength.
Practice without fanaticism
- Choose clothes that are comfortable for the body and also look precise: clean, neat, and well-fitted.
- Add one accent: color, silhouette, hairstyle, accessory — whatever makes you feel composed.
- Step out with a task: not simply “to run,” but “to set the tone.” Your appearance should inspire and motivate others — that too is part of the path.
To a run like to a runway. Not because you are playing a role. But because you remember: beauty and attractiveness are a duty to your own strength. Make it so that both people and Lilith notice you.
