Energy Vampire: The Psychology of Manipulation
Many people seek protection from other people’s influence through amulets, spells, magic, or witchcraft. In this material, however, I will leave the ritual part aside and focus on the real psychology and mechanics of how resource is taken. No clichés and no fairy tales — only clear definitions and examples.
An energy vampire is...
Let us examine the definition of a “vampire person” and understand what energy vampirism is on the physical and spiritual planes.
An energy vampire is a person who, consciously or not, manipulates another person’s feelings in order to take their life energy.
Two points are important here:
- Manipulation of feelings, not to be confused with emotions. Feelings are deeper and more stable, so more resource “leaves” through them over the long distance.
- Awareness. In most cases, energy vampires do not understand what they are doing. Moreover, through honest analysis, you may discover such a manipulator even in yourself.
How to recognize an energy vampire: a simple example
Imagine a situation: you have agreed to meet a colleague. You are punctual, but the colleague is late. At that moment, you begin to experience an intrusive feeling of hurt or irritation. This is energy vampirism in simple terms.
What is happening on the subtle plane at that time?
Spiritual structures know about your sensitive attitude toward time. The “dark hierarchies” simply help your colleague be late. The burst of energy that arises in you is divided between the “organizers” of the process and the colleague themselves. They may not understand their own influence, but through an unspoken contract they receive real benefit at your expense.
Manipulation of Feelings Through “Light”
When examining who an energy vampire is, it is important to distinguish the methods of manipulation. The loss of strength through feelings is often experienced as physical pain — a tightness in the chest, or a dull and barely noticeable ache.
The most effective manipulation is not when someone makes you feel “bad,” but when they make you feel “too good.” For example, through an imposed feeling of guilt.
Example: A close person, “holy” and “flawless,” asks for help. You understand that your help would be inappropriate, and you refuse. In response, there is a quiet sigh and an “understanding” look. You turn this situation over in your head for hours, feeling pain in your chest. Congratulations: the flow of your energy has opened and is directed toward feeding this person.
Signs of an energy vampire “on contract”
How do you recognize a “professional” manipulator in your surroundings? An energy vampire at work or in the family reveals themselves through systematic repetition.
Main signs of vampirism:
- Intrusive thoughts: After communication, you keep “replaying” the dialogue, justifying yourself in your head, or getting angry. As long as you are thinking about them, you are “feeding” them.
- Intolerance of loneliness: Such a person always needs a “viewer” or a partner for interaction. Because of their low personal resource, they are forced to constantly provoke others into giving energy. However, it is important not to confuse this point with a high energy level and a drive toward sociability.
- Physical response: Heaviness in the solar plexus or chest during or after communication with a specific person.
Lilith’s attitude toward manipulators
From Lilith’s point of view, energy vampires are more likely victims of their own carelessness or energetic greed. There is no pity for them: everyone passes through their own lessons, and they will have to pass through theirs.
It is important to understand: Lilith neither supports nor condemns vampirism, but she may use it as a tool for your training. No one can take your strength from you by force — not through witchcraft, not through magic. Only circumstances are created, which you “accept,” voluntarily giving away resource through your reactions.
Followers of Lilith learn to see the mechanics of manipulation and close the leakage channel through simple awareness: “This is not my feeling; this is a trap.” Read about how to minimize losses in the next material attached below.
